A long time covered since his first partys at the Palace, the locomotive or Rex Club, where he discovered the synthetic musics of house and techno.
Early 90’s, raves are blooming… YanX finds a new way of expressions, and vinyl mix is the first musical application for electronic music experience…a revelation;)!
He starts as techno and acid DJ at the Rhyzomic & Free Artists Network (specialized in streaming video ) events from 1993, and played in Batofar, Gibus club … and others private partys or warehouses as usual in the 90’s.
In the meantime, he’s getting interested in hardcore and industrial music, a new hard musical style just reaching France.
1995 will be a turning point. Connection with « Total hors-circuit », an underground and alternative music structure. Since that time he worked on machines and new sounds to realize music events, artists promotions & soundtracks. A new gig identity is needed for him! he take new pseudo : dj Fysio for years blasting heads with his hardcore sets and finally devyan for more expérimental projects.
He produces many mix and liveset for industrial/hardcore and techno party’s, plays in festivals or experimental music concept and night club’s all over France & Eu to spread his indus energy during approximatively 10 years
Now Devyan experimenting contours of electronic music trough original audio project by opening new landscapes & textures with his new mainly analog set. That makes a perfect combo to stay in touch with alternative culture next by his main activity as Project Manager in IT’s.
Devyan provides an essential contribution for electronic contemporary art evolution 😉
